Here in Texas, it just wouldn’t be Spring without Bluebonnet photos. From mid-March through early May, you see cars pulled over on the sides of highways and children piling out of cars to have portraits made on fields of blue. After the harshest winter I can ever remember enduring here in Central Texas, it sure is nice to smell all the honeysuckle heavy in the air and to watch the rosebushes explode with color

Sometimes a fleeting emotion is captured in the blink of an eye. It’s the expressions like this one that I cherish. I had shot this a few years ago for the family of a deployed soldier.
